Features. The inn consists of a stately mansion built in 1939, reminiscent of a historic Caribbean mansion, and two cottage rooms. An Island Oasis is surrounded by tropical gardens accented with spikes of bright red ginger, palm trees and a mahogany tree, and is scented with the sweet smell of jasmine. Complimentary continental breakfast buffets are offered each morning in the garden. Wine and cheese are provided in the evening. Complimentary wireless Internet access and fax service are available. An outdoor dipping pool, hammock, lounge chairs and barbecue grill are offered for guests' use. The inn also features a furnished porch. Pets are not allowed at the property.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at An Island Oasis offer private bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Cable television and complimentary wireless Internet access are provided in all accommodations. The Standard Queen Room, located in the mansion, features a garden view. The Cottage Room offers a private garden or deck and a private entrance.
Expert Tip. The world-famous Conch Tour Train starts one mile from the inn. Guests can step back in time as the train transports them through the history of Key West.
