fiogf49gjkf0d Location. Camino Real Zaashila blends the architectural charms of a Mediterranean village with Mexican artistic elements in its setting along scenic Tangolunda Bay in Huatulco, Mexico. A championship 18-hole golf course is located three kilometers from this property.
Hotel Features. Six on-site restaurants and bars include Chez Binni, an open-air, fine-dining establishment that prepares Mexican cuisine, seafood dishes and vegetarian selections. Tempting choices at Azul Profudo include seafood bisque with mezcal, and beef tenderloin with Roquefort and chipotle-honey glaze. Beachfront bars offer late hours and scenic settings. This resort provides an area off the lobby that contains two computers with high-speed Internet access. Internet use is complimentary for the first 15 minutes. Fax, photocopying and printing services, plus flexible meeting space, are available. An outdoor pool is sculpted in a series of channel-linked open areas with a beach entry, built-in lounges and a garden island. One end of the pool houses an eight-person spa tub and a toddlers' pool area complete with a playground. Palapas along the beach offer shade and are used as shelters for hair-braiding and open-air massage. The resort's recreational amenities include an illuminated, artificial-grass tennis court. There are no water sports available on the beach, but an independent operator at the resort can arrange watercraft, scuba diving and fishing-boat rentals.
Guestrooms. The Camino Real Zaashila offers 148 spacious guestrooms and suites in two- and three-story buildings. All rooms and suites feature furnished balconies that overlook Tangolunda Bay. Décor includes tan-marble floors and bathrooms, rose-marble vanities, wrought-iron dining sets, rattan reading chairs with footstools, ivory-toned furniture, brightly painted ceilings and pastel fabrics.
Expert Tip. The resort's beach can be accessed by the public only from the ocean. Therefore, the beach area is, for all intents, available to guests only.
