The hotel was renovated in 1998 and is located next to Placa Catalunya and the Ramblas, real key centers in Barcelona. This Modernist building was built in 1898 by the famous architect Emilio Salas y Cortes (a professor of Gaudi). The entry hall with the marble staircase leading to the first floor has been preserved from the main building. On the first floor you will find impressive mahogany doors from Cuba and the original moulded ceiling and dome.
