The Cleopatra Palace is one of five hotels making up the Mare Nostrum Resort. The large modern building hotel is fitted with terrazzo marble floors and sweeping staircases, and is 100 meters from the beach of Playa de Las Americas. The 199 guestrooms are decorated in vibrant colors with rich red fabrics and dark wood furniture. All have double glass doors which open out on to balconies or terraces with sun loungers, and separate sitting areas. Modern amenities include cable television, air conditioning, safes, telephones, and minibars. Bathrooms have tubs, telephones, bidets and hair dryers.
Sun-worshippers can lounge on the terraces with cocktails from the poolside bar. Those wishing to relax can use the luxurious spa with therapeutic massages, seaweed wraps, and facial treatments; additional facilities include a sauna, jetted tub and solarium. The hotel has four swimming pools to choose from, including an impressive Roman marble pool and another solely for naturists. Those feeling energetic can practise their serve on the tennis courts, workout at the gym, or take aerobics, tai chi and yoga classes. Children are well-catered for with a mini club for 4 to 16 year-olds, children's park, miniature golf and kid's pool. In the evening, drinks and cocktails are served alongside live musical entertainment at the Piano bar. The Italian restaurant serves pizzas and pasta in a rustic Italian setting, accompanied by live folk music, while the Spanish restaurant offers tortillas and paellas, accompanied by Spanish music. Guests can enjoy water sports at the beach and take whale watching excursions, one kilometer away. Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport is 12 kilometers away.

fiogf49gjkf0d Taxis are available from the airport to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and are relatively cheap. Buses leave regularly from the airport to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Marítima, Los Cristianos and other destinations on the island. From the airport, take the highway in the direction of Playa de las Americas. Exit at Los Cristianos, and after 300 meters, turn right following signs to Playa de las Americas. At the end of the avenue, turn left towards El Camison. Take the first left again and look for the blue Mediterranean Palace, which is the beginning of the Mare Nostrum resort, where the hotel is located. |
