Description:

Location. Offering access to Utah's famous "champagne powder" on two legendary ski mountains, The Cliff Lodge and Spa is located in the popular ski resort area of Snowbird, Utah. The hotel is eight miles from shopping and dining venues in the town of Sandy and 25 miles from downtown Salt Lake City. This ski-in/ski-out hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the Alta Ski Area, connected to Snowbird by ski lifts.

Hotel Features. Renovated in 2006, The Cliff Lodge and Spa offers a variety of dining venues, including The Aire, a formal restaurant with local products presented with a French flair. The Atrium serves buffet-style meals and offers a casual ambience with a glass wall for overlooking the slopes. The Aerie Restaurant includes a lounge and Sushi Bar featuring live music twice a week during the winter. El Chanate serves Mexican food and an extensive tequila selection. Treatments at the full-service health spa include deep-tissue, Shiatsu and four-hand massages; seaweed and hydrating-massage mask facials; and mineral salt body scrubs and herbal wraps. The hotel offers a business center, ballroom, meeting rooms, heated outdoor pools and spa tubs on the rooftop sundeck and wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the property. The hotel features a ski rental shop, ticket office for the ski school and lifts, and complimentary ski lockers. An ice-skating rink, tubing hill and night skiing course are available.

Guestrooms. The spacious guestrooms offer views of the canyon and feature flat-screen televisions, coffeemakers, compact refrigerators and complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access.

Expert Tip. Camp Snowbird is the daycare facility at the resort and offers a variety of activities for the children, including games, movies, arts and crafts, naps and skiing lessons on the nearby Chickadee Run. Camp Snowbird also features a nursery for infants six weeks and older.
