Location. The Four Points by Sheraton Elysee Palace hotel in Nice, France is one-half block from the Promenade des Anglais. In the lobby, hot and cold breakfast buffets are served each morning in the Breakfast Room. The Rooftop Terrace is open from mid-May to mid-September and serves drinks and snacks all day. Le Caprice is open from mid-September to mid-May and serves lunch and dinner menus. The lap pool on the hotel's rooftop offers panoramic views of the city and the sea.

Expert Tip. Vieux Nice, old center of town, is less than two kilometers from the hotel, is lively and animated. There are small, inexpensive restaurants and pizzerias. One of the favorite attractions is the cours Saleya marketplace, bursting with color, with an abundance of flowers, a Nicois green sprout salad specialty known as mesclun, and the best of the local fish catches.
