Styled after the ancient Mayan pyramid, this beachfront resort with magnificent architecture sits on Cancun Island's eastern shore. The resort is less than two kilometers from Ruinas el Rey, 10 kilometers from the Convention Center and 21 kilometers from downtown Cancun.
Hotel Features. The Oasis Playa All Inclusive offers two tennis courts, two pools, four restaurants and four bars. A spacious activity pool includes a raised section containing a shaded swim-up bar. Above the pool and connected by a waterfall is a "quiet" pool surrounded by padded teak lounge chairs. Palm trees shade a large children's pool. Additional amenities include tennis and basketball, babysitting services, spa treatments, Internet access, and outside tours and excursions.
Guestrooms. The Oasis Playa All Inclusive offers 388 air- conditioned guestrooms in two eight-story towers shaped like Mayan pyramids. Room decor features textured terra cotta walls, dark wood and wrought-iron furnishings, and gray marble floors. Additional amenities include in-room safes and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Cancun's Nichupte Lagoon offers water sports such as kayaking, parasailing and scuba diving.
