Its 54 guestrooms are on five floors and have separate lounge areas, kambala parquet flooring, teak furniture and marble bathrooms. Photographic artwork adorns the walls, and all rooms include satellite television, minibars and safes.
Mediterranean and international dishes are served in the arched dining hall or al fresco in the cobbled courtyard and garden. The hotel's vaulted basement is home to the Tiefrot contemporary theatre company, who host regular performances there, while L Fritz Gruber oversees the hotel's collection of photography, displayed throughout the building. fiogf49gjkf0d The S13 train goes from the airport to Cologne's main station. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal building and a fare to the hotel costs approximately 25 EUR. Cologne has an extensive integrated public transport system, with buses, trams, the subway and local trains serving the city. Driving directions: From the south (right-hand side of the Rhine) follow signs for Koln-Deutz on the A59 until the motorway ends. Follow the traffic flow and cross the Deutzer Brucke Bridge, and turn right into the north- south carriageway Nord-Sud Fahrt towards Zoobrucke bridge. After the railway bridge take the third right into Dagobertstrasse where the hotel is located. |
