Spread over five floors, the hotel's 80 guestrooms have simple decor combining modern wood furnishings and traditional floor tiles decorated with authentic Tuscan designs. All include air conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial phones, Internet connections, safes and minibars.
A buffet of traditional Tuscan pastries, cheeses, cold meats, yogurts and seasonal fruits is served each morning in the hotel breakfast room. Shuttle bus services are also available from the airport to Santa Maria Novella station, 400 metres from the hotel. Traffic is restricted in the city centre and parking is expensive, so the centre of Florence is best explored on foot. Taxis wait outside Santa Maria Novella Station. Driving from the airport: Take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Firenze Centro. Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow 20 minutes. |
