Location. The 16th-century Hotel d'Inghilterra in central Rome, Italy, is located 50 metres from Via Condotti's shops and 200 metres from the Spanish Steps. The hotel is 500 metres from the Trevi Fountain and 800 metres from the Pantheon. The Colosseum and Vatican City are within two-and-a-half kilometres. Stazione Termini railway station is two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Set in a former royal palace, the Hotel d'Inghilterra has its own private art gallery and garden.

Vaulted red ceilings, leather seating, briarwood tables and marble-and-granite floors grace the Cafe Romano where guests can dine on Mediterranean specialties and new twists to traditional Italian cuisine. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A varied menu offers tasty appetizers and cocktails outside meal times. The Bond Bar, designed in a British pub style, serves coffee, wine and draught ale in a warm and friendly atmosphere, featuring dark wood furnishings, leather armchairs and original prints.

Driving Directions

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Hotel d'Inghilterra is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The station is two kilometres from the hotel. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Via Bocca Di Leone. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. The hotel has parking nearby.
