Alternatively private water taxis are available by arrangement with the hotel. Driving directions: From the airport, turn left onto the state road SS14 and follow signs for Venice. At the end of the Ponte della Liberta, the bridge which links Venice to the mainland, there is a sign for Tronchetto from where a ferry boat service to Venice Lido departs every 40 minutes. From the ferry boat arrival point, turn right onto Riviera San Nicolo and follow this into Riviera Santa Maria Elisabetta. Turn left into Gran Viale S.M. Elisabetta at the roundabout and follow it to the end. Turn right into Lungomare Marconi and the Hotel Des Bains is on the right. |
