Location. The Hotel Florida is located in the centre of Milan, Italy, within 200 metres of the Corso Buenos Aires shopping district and two kilometres from the Duomo. Milan's Central Railway Station is 50 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Situated in a quiet street, this six-storey property has sleek, contemporary design with polished marble and black and white leather sofas in the lobby where guests can relax by the television or read the latest news in a complimentary paper. Getting there. Taxis to central Milan cost about 65 EUR-75 EUR. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes between the airport's train station and the city centre (Cadorna station). Single tickets are approximately 9 EUR, and journey time is 40 minutes. The Malpensa shuttle bus runs to Stazione Centrale (central station) every 20 minutes. The fare is 4.50 EUR and journey time is 20 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one-way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
