fiogf49gjkf0d The Hotel Nassauer Hof was founded in 1819 on the site of a thermal spring. It is a palatial hotel with an ornate white façade, located 200 meters from the casino and opera house. The 169 guestrooms feature light décor with a mix of traditional and modern wood furnishings depending on the room type. All rooms feature wireless Internet connections, minibars, separate sitting areas, fax connection, hair dryers, safes and telephones. The bathrooms feature a bathtub with a shower, complimentary toiletries and bathrobes. All rooms have a view either of the Kurhaus, Kaiser Friedrich Square or the hotel courtyard.
Ente, the hotel's main restaurant, has been awarded a Michelin star every year for the last 25 years. Here guests can enjoy Euro-Asian and Mediterranean influenced cuisine and choose from a cellar with over 1200 wines. The restaurant features light décor with contemporary light fittings and a winding staircase with an ornate banister leading to a gallery. Adjacent to Ente is the Enten Bistro. Here guests can choose from an à la carte menu featuring salads, stews and traditional German favorites. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list and features curved ceilings and floor length windows. The Orangerie serves a range of German dishes and features light décor, dark wood tables, walls hung with prints and floor length windows. Part of the ceiling is domed and features a chandelier. Vegetarian food is available and there is a Sunday lunch buffet. The hotel also has its own piano bar where guests can enjoy a range of snacks and drinks including an extensive selection of whiskeys and cigars. Guests can relax in the thermal bath filled with water from the hotel's own hot thermal spring. The bath features a contemporary sculpted ceiling and a glass extension that looks out from the fifth floor. There is a fitness room with cardio and weight-training equipment, two saunas, a sun terrace and a range of beauty services available from the Estée Lauder Beauty Center. For those guests on business, the hotel provides conference rooms with a range of audio-visual equipment and secretarial services. The hotel also has its own gift shop and newsstand. Nearby attractions include Schloß Freudenberg, an unusual museum dedicated to sensory experience and perception, which is 3.5 kilometers away.
