Hotel Features. Dating back to 1866, the Hotel Sacher Salzburg is a majestic building with a large, baroque-style lobby. Resplendent with chandeliers and luxurious seating, the hotel has an elegant piano bar, wireless Internet access, 24-hour room service and facilities for weddings.
The hotel features two fine-dining restaurants and a cafe. One specialises in Austrian cooking, while the other is more international and has views towards the river. The hotel cafe serves hand-crafted pastries and cakes.

The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost about 15 EUR. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Salzburg's city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths.
