Located in Treasure Beach, a small fishing village on the underdeveloped south coast of Jamaica in the parish of St. Elizabeth, the secluded Jake's hotel is a laidback escape spread out over six acres. Pristine waterfalls are 16 kilometers from the hotel, and the nearest town, Black River, is located 24 kilometers away.
Recreational activities such as snorkeling, mountain biking, kayaking and deep-sea fishing can be arranged by Jake's for a fee. Guests who return with fish can have their catch prepared at the on-site Jake's Restaurant, which features spicy Jamaican specialties. Jake's Bar provides refreshments by the saltwater pool.

Complimentary dial-up Internet access is available at a computer kiosk. The hotel also contains a library with movies, books and board games.
