Location. Hotel Jan III Sobieski is located in the city of Warsaw, Poland, in the Ochota district. It is three kilometres from the mediaeval ramparts of the city's historic old town.
Hotel Features. Opened in 1992, this seven- storey hotel has façade painted in bright pastel colours and is topped by a glass cupola. The health club has fitness equipment, two saunas including an aromatherapy, sauna, and a solarium. Massage treatments are also available. There is a hair salon on site which offers beauty services, and the hotel also has a gift shop, flower shop, and an art gallery. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer concierge services, and the use of a safe-deposit box. The public areas have wireless Internet access (surcharge), and secure garage parking is available for a surcharge.

Restaurant Marysienka serves Polish specialities and international dishes in a traditional setting with an illuminated fountain and two glass domes. The Alexander Café offers sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and coffees, and the Zbrojownia Bar serves cocktails and features a happy hour.

Getting there. The number 175 bus runs from the airport to the old town and the city centre. The number 188 bus links the airport to the city's suburbs. Single tickets cost 3 PLN. From 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., night bus number 611 runs every 30 minutes from the airport to Warsaw's central railway station. Some hotels offer airport transfers. Taxis wait outside arrivals and cost approximately 35 PLN-45 PLN to central Warsaw. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Warsaw's extensive public transport network includes buses, trams, and metro services. Single tickets cost 2.40 PLN, and 24-hour passes cost 7.20 PLN. Trams and buses run between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m., and night buses are also available. Horse- drawn carriages offer an alternative way to explore the city's old town. Trains run from Warsaw to destinations throughout Poland.
