fiogf49gjkf0d Location. The John Ascuaga Nugget Hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and five minutes from downtown Reno, Nevada. The hotel features sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the surrounding valley.
Hotel Features. Guests can relax in an atrium-enclosed pool and spa tub on the fifth floor. The pool features tropical temperatures year-round, eight bubble pools and a 16-foot spa tub. Adjacent to the pool is Chonne's Salon, which offers services from hair cuts, massages and pedicures to full pampering packages. The hotel features more than 110,000 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms, a tradeshow pavilion, 23 breakout rooms and a business center. Guests have several on-site dining options, including the Steakhouse Grill, Trader Dick's, Rosie's Cafe, John's Oyster Bar and Gabe's Pub & Deli. Guests can take a chance at hitting the jackpot in the 75,000-square-foot casino 24 hours a day.
Guestrooms. The main tower complex houses 1,600 guestrooms, and the adjacent five-story Courtyard building features an additional 157 guestrooms. Guestrooms include contemporary furnishings, desks, sitting areas and high-speed wireless Internet access. Guestrooms in the main tower complex have views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Guests in Courtyard rooms are a short walk from the Nugget's main complex and have full access to all amenities in the main tower complex, including the pool and health club. Complimentary airport shuttles stop at the main complex and at the rear entrance of the Courtyard.
Expert Tip.Right outside the casino is Victorian Square, which offers interactive fountains and gazebos. Live music is featured on some summer evenings. Victorian Square also is home to many special events, including The Big Easy, Hometown Christmas and Hot August Nights.
