From Vancouver International Airport, Whistler is a scenic one and one-half hour ascension on Canada's gorgeous Highway 99, appropriately called the Sea-to-Sky Highway. Whistler's prestigious winter resorts and mountains will host thousands of international fans and athletes for downhill events during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Summer recreation includes golf, hiking and mountain biking.
A large fireplace framed by limestone columns anchors the hotel's lobby with a suave, western feel. Secure underground parking is available for a fee. Coin- operated Laundry facilities are available on-site. The property boasts a steamy outdoor spa tub, for relaxing beneath the stars after returning from the slopes. The Listel Whistler Hotel features two dining venues: the Bearfoot Bistro offers an outstanding wine list and season gourmet menu in an open-kitchen environment and the Champagne Restaurant and Bar which provides a casual fare.
Guestrooms feature comfortable and well- furnished accommodations which include two double beds with down duvets, satellite TVs and small refrigerators.
