Location. The Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel is located on the south coast of Madeira, Portugal, in the island's capital city of Funchal. The hotel offers direct access to the seafront promenade and is situated 50 metres from restaurants, bars and shops, and two kilometres from the bustling city centre.
Hotel Features. This contemporary Portuguese- style six-storey boutique property is built next to the cliff face, with a street-level lobby on the top floor. Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools complete with a poolside bar and sun deck, a Turkish bath and a fully equipped gym. The Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel's shuttle service provides transportation to a sister hotel that offers additional fitness and spa facilities. Getting there. Taxis to the hotel cost approximately 30 EUR. The Aerobus runs to the city centre every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 5 EUR. Local buses also operate between the airport and the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Funchal and the surrounding areas are served by a good public bus network. The hotel's shuttle service runs to the city centre. A car is useful for travelling further afield.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow the main road ('Via Rapida') west towards Funchal.
Take the São Martinho exit, turn left and continue to the roundabout.
At the roundabout, take the third exit.
Continue on until reaching a narrow street on the right- hand side.
Turn right.
Continue straight on to the sea, where the road joins the main street from Funchal centre.
Turn left towards the town and the new Madeira Forum shopping centre on the left.
The Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel is on the right-hand side.
