Visitors should use yellow cabs only. The cab is available only if the center panel of its roof sign is lit. Subways and buses are efficient and inexpensive (less than $5). MetroCards for subways and buses can be purchased in subway stations and from designated merchants. Subway and bus stops are across the street. Because of expensive and limited parking, as well as challenging traffic conditions, rental cars are generally not recommended.
