The Rantasipi Tropicland Spa Hotel is a modern, family- orientated seaside resort complex with extensive gardens and a water park, located less than two kilometers outside Vaasa on Finland's west coast. Distributed over four floors, the 184 guestrooms feature polished wooden floors and a bright décor with modern furnishings. All rooms offer direct dial telephones, cable television, pay movie channel, minibars and private bathrooms with bathrobes and hairdryers.
The hotel's vast all-season swimming pool complex has a tropical theme and incorporates waterslides, a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, a separate children's pool and a poolside bar. Guests can sweat it out in one of seven onsite saunas, bronze in the solarium, work out in the gym or indulge in a range of spa treatments. Volleyball is on offer down on the private beach. With polished wooden floors and sea views, the spacious main restaurant serves a varied international menu at breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the Tarzan and Jane Pizza Buffet has a terrace and offers pizzas and pastas. Guests can make use of a wide range of amenities including a souvenir shop, wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, 24 hour front desk service and free onsite parking. Central Vaasa's museums, shops and harbor with ferry links to Sweden are all less than two kilometers away. Vaasa airport is approximately 10 kilometers and a 15 minute drive away. Taxis are available at arrivals and cost around 11 Euros.
