fiogf49gjkf0d The Reindl's Partenkirchner is a traditional Bavarian hotel set in the picturesque Alpine resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of Gemany's tallest mountain in the Alps. The 62 guestrooms are housed in three distinct buildings, the main property and the Alpspitz and Wetterstein houses. Rooms are decorated in either old classical or contemporary Bavarian style with oak wood furnishings and art works adorning the walls. All include safes, minibars, cable television, direct- dial telephones, bathrobes and radios.
After a day of hiking or skiing in the mountains guests head to the conservatory style spa area of the hotel where guests can relax and rejuvenate in the heated indoor swimming pool, the sauna and the hot spa tub. There are relaxing lounge chairs by the side of the pool and guests can enjoy views of the gardens and mountains or step outside onto the sun terrace. The gardens are open to guests and those who want to have a lazy day soaking up the sunshine there are sun beds and picnic areas scattered around the grassy areas. The hotel wine cellar boasts over 250 varieties and guests can enjoy aperitifs or draft Pils beer in the bar or winter garden before dining on classic Bavarian dishes or fresh lobster in the restaurant. Guests can benefit from concierge services and a 24-hour front desk as well as ski storage, a limo service and dry cleaning service. Other practical amenities include an indoor parking garage (6.50€ per day). The hotel is surrounded by natural scenery and offers plenty of opportunities for skiing, hiking, trekking and horse riding. Zugspitze, the highest mountain, is 10 kilometres away and one of crazy King Ludwig's castles, Castle Linderhof, is a 25 kilometre drive. Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport is 120 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.

fiogf49gjkf0d Take the train to Munich and then a connecting train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station, which is 200 metres from the hotel. A taxi from the airport would cost approximately 160 EUR. The town is easily reached on foot or bicycle. The surrounding countryside, mountains and villages are best explored by car. Driving directions: From Munich and Munich airport - Follow the signs to Munich towards the Mittlerer Ring. Follow the signs to Olympia stadion and Garmisch- Partenkirchen. The highway to Garmisch-Partenkirchen ends 17 km away in the village of Eschenlohe. From here there is only one street to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Keep following the signs until the town is reached and then follow signs for the train station (Bahnof) the hotel is 200 metres from here. |
