Description: Location. Taking up an entire city block in Savannah, Ga., and wrapped around a central atrium, the River Street Inn is a five-story historic building on Savannah's riverfront, located within one mile of the City Market, Davenport House Museum and Crossroads Shopping Center. Golfing at Club at Savannah Harbor is less than four miles away and the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum is just over a mile from the property. The inn is nestled in Savannah's historic district, between the Factor's Walk and River Street, overlooking the Savannah River.
Hotel Features. Dining choices include steak and seafood or Cajun cooking. In the afternoons, hors d'oeuvres and wine receptions are offered. Indoor and outdoor meeting space is provided on the River Street Inn's second floor and rooftop deck. A spa tub and pool table are featured.
Guestrooms. The hotel's rooms vary in theme and décor, affording either city or river views, and include hardwood floors or plush carpeting and private balconies or floor-length windows. Cable television, a CD player, newspaper and dial-up Internet access is supplied. Expert Tip. Built in 1817, the River Street Inn sat adjacent to the Cotton Exchange and was used for storing, grading and exporting cotton.
