From Geneva International Airport (GVA):
Distance to Royal Plaza Montreux is 60 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport's train station is a 300-metre walk from the Arrivals and Departures floors. Trains link to destinations across Switzerland. All trains stop at the central Geneva- Cornavin station, and departures are approximately every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost 5 CHF. Bus number 10 runs every 10 minutes to the city centre. Bus number 18 runs every 30 minutes to the United Nations building. Single tickets cost 2.20 CHF. Aero Ski Bus serves many French ski stations, and tickets can be purchased at the airport. Taxis wait in the terminal forecourt and cost about 35 CHF to central Geneva. Prices are all subject to change. The Royal Plaza Montreux is located on Lake Geneva.

Getting around. The hotel is located on the lakeside Grand Rue in Montreux. Local buses run along the Montreux waterfront and to sights beyond town, such as Château Chillon. Take the motorway towards Lausanne.
Continue through Vevey to Montreux.
Take the Montreux downtown exit.
Head towards Lake Geneva, then turn left at the corner.
