fiogf49gjkf0d Location. The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel is one of the most centrally located hotels in San Francisco. Pier 39's many attractions and eateries are four blocks away. Ghirardelli Square's specialty shops are five blocks from the hotel and famed Lombard Street is one mile away. The cable car turnaround, Alcatraz Island ferry, the Cannery, National Maritime Historical Park, Coit Tower and North Beach are within walking distance. Chinatown, Union Square and Golden Gate Bridge are within two miles.
Hotel Features. This hotel features an outdoor pool and sundeck with food and beverage service. A fitness center provides treadmills, stair masters, exercise bikes and free weights. Wireless Internet is available for an additional charge in all public areas and the hotel features 7,000 square feet of flexible conference space. Guests enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Compass Grill, which features regional and international dishes. The adjacent Compass Lounge offers local beers, wines and specialty cocktails served in the lounge or on the outdoor heated patio.
Guestrooms. Comprised of six buildings, the pet-friendly Sheraton's 529 guestrooms populate four floors and are accessed by elevators. The individual buildings are connected by enclosed walkways. All accommodations feature desks, lounge chairs, white-tiled bathrooms with vanities, coffeemakers, high-speed Internet access, televisions with Internet access, multi-line telephones, and Häagen Dazs ice-cream delivery until 11 pm.
Expert Tip. The waterfront is fairly level and great for walking. For views of Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, windsurfers at Crissy Field, and ships floating in and out of the bay, guests stroll the Golden Gate Promenade, a trail that begins at Aquatic Park a few blocks from the hotel, and ends at the bridge.
