The Hotel Sol Trinidad, built in 1969, is a modern holiday hotel located 50 metres from a sandy beach in the Mallorcan resort town of Magaluf. The 375 guestrooms over nine floors have muted pastel tones, light oak furnishings including desks and glass doors leading to balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, direct-dial phones and ceiling fans. The private bathrooms come with bidets and shower and tub combinations.
Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk van offer information about car rental, excursions and local restaurants as well as currency exchange. There are two outdoor pools, a children's pool and a poolside bar; an indoor pool is open in the winter. An extensive daily entertainment programme is available for adults and there is a kids club and a playground. A variety of activities are available on site including tennis, volleyball, archery, aerobics, water polo, table tennis, volleyball and swimming. The hotel puts on shows and live music in the evenings. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby ands there is Internet access in public areas for a surcharge. The Sol Trinidad Restaurant is non- smoking restaurant and features theme evenings as well as local and international cuisine served buffet style with children's and vegetarian menus available. A full English breakfast is served each morning. The Lobby Bar serves cocktails and other drinks. Golf Fantasia, a miniature golf course is one kilometre from the hotel as is Aqualand Water Park. The nearest station is 16 kilometres from the hotel and Palma de Mallorca Airport is 25 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
