Located on Grenada's renowned Grand Anse Beach, the Spice Island Beach Resort is a Spanish-style, 5,500-square-foot courtyard hotel located seven miles from the city of St. George's and 10 miles from Point Salines International Airport. In 2006, the hotel re-opened after an extensive, $12 million renovation following damage from Hurricane Ivan.
Guests at the Spice Island Beach Resort can enjoy the 3,500-square-foot Janissa's Spa that features aromatherapy and spice-scented massages with fragrances such as nutmeg and coconut. The hotel also contains a fitness center, pool with hot tub and poolside bar, high-speed Internet access, laundry facilities, Children's Activity Center and complimentary valet and self-parking.
The Spice Island Beach Resort houses Oliver's Restaurant, a seaside dining area that serves breakfast and dinner. Open-air poolside and seaside dining is available for lunch at the hotel's Sea and Surf Terrace Restaurant.
Private day and sunset cruises, sport fishing, non-motorized watersports and PADI diving are some of the recreational opportunities offered at the hotel.
The 64 guestrooms at the Spice Island Beach Resort feature Frette Italian linens, designer bath amenities and rattan furniture. Air-conditioned guestrooms include ceiling fans and windows that open. Accommodations also feature double-jetted spa tubs, bathrobes, high-speed Internet access, satellite television, and minibars with complimentary bottled water. Select suites include private pools.
