Complimentary hot or cold buffet breakfast is served at the hotel. Local produce flavours dishes in The Squire, and The Clubhouse serves meals and has views over the golf courses. Its terrace is open in the warmer months. Kittocks Den bar has comfortable leather sofas, and Esperante 2 Rosette Restaurant specialises in Mediterranean fare amid warm tones of terracotta, chocolate and olive.

Work will take place on the corridors, lobby and, atrium until mid-February; guestrooms (staged) until April; and the spa facilities will be closed between the 28th January and the 18th February (with work fully complete by April; alternative facilities will be put in place). Getting there. Airlink 100 operates express bus services to the city centre. Buses run every 10 minutes and depart from the bus station next to the terminal. An open-return pass costs 5 GBP. The N22 night bus runs between midnight and 4 a.m. Taxis wait at a rank next to the terminal, and cost approximately 10 GBP-20 GBP to the city centre, depending on traffic and time of day. Waverley, Edinburgh's main railway station, can be reached by bus or taxi. Regular trains leave Waverley for Glasgow and most major destinations throughout Scotland and England.
