The hotel features 146 air-conditioned studios with simple cream decor and modern furnishings. Guests can relax on a sun bed by one of four outdoor freshwater pools, or work up a sweat with a game of tennis or squash. Guests can dine on Portuguese specialities in the Alfama Restaurant, or visit one of the restaurants at a nearby sister hotel, and the Oceano bar is open for cocktails and live music in the evenings. The beautiful east coast is the destination for nature-lovers, two and a half kilometres away. Funchal Airport is approximately 20 kilometres and a 25- minute drive from the hotel.
