Location. The Sun Village Resort and Spa All-Inclusive is a beach resort located in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic on the beautiful Cofresi Beach. The hotel is less than two miles from Fort San Felipe and two miles from downtown Puerto Plata and the Amber Museum. Teleferico is less than two miles from the hotel while the Brugal Rum Factory is four miles away.
Hotel Features. The Sun Village Resort and Spa features a three-tier swimming pool oasis with cascading waterfalls, bubbling Roman tubs, a grotto bar, an adults-only pool and a children's pool with waterslide. Being an all-inclusive resort, the Sun Village Resort and Spa offers four restaurants that are included in the all- inclusive program: Sonora Cafe, serving Mexican food; Lemongrass, serving Asian-fusion; Citrus, serving Italian food with a wine cellar and Malibu Restaurant, featuring California inspired cuisine. The resort's spa features seven treatment rooms, a full service hair salon, steam baths, spa tubs and two outdoor cabanas. Pampering treatments include the Hot Volcanic Stone Massage, Fresh Coconut Body Polish and the Original Pevonia Moroccan Cocoon with Rassoul. Light snacks and spa-inspired refreshments are available.
