From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to the Westbury Hotel is nine-and-a-half kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is about 5 EUR. A 24-hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost about 18 EUR-20 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Westbury Hotel is on Dublin's Grafton Street. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double-decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield. Complimentary onsite parking is available.
Driving directions. From Dublin International Airport:
Follow city centre signs to O'Connell Street.
Cross O'Connell Bridge to D'Olier Street.
Stay in left lane (note Trinity College on left).
Continue in left lane to Nassau Street.
Take second turn on the right to Kildare Street.
Continue straight to Stephens Green.
Turn left on Stephens Green.
Get in right lane, and continue to drive around the green.
On the third side, get into extreme left lane and look for St Stephens Green Shopping Centre (white building) on the corner (left-hand side).
Turn left at shopping centre onto South King Street.
Take first right after the Gaiety Theatre on to Clarendon street.
Then take your first right onto Balfe Street (very short street)
Then take the first left on to Harry Street which leads to the front of the hotel.
