fiogf49gjkf0d Set within eight acres of lush gardens on the edge of the Château de Versailles, the historic Westin Trianon Palace and Spa is less than 17 kilometres from Paris. Built in 1910, the hotel has 192 soundproofed guestrooms, located in two main buildings, the Palace and the Pavillon, which are connected via an underground passage. All rooms include period furniture, pale walls and floral fabrics, and white tile or pink marble bathrooms with heated towel racks, combination shower/tubs, and double-basin sinks. Rooms are air-conditioned, and Internet access is available through data ports (fee), while televisions are equipped with video-game consoles.
The extensive Trianon Spa (30,000 square feet) is on three levels. Guests enjoy complimentary use of its indoor pool, steam room, sauna, fitness centre, and a large open-air solarium. The hotel also has two outdoor tennis courts, open during the summer months, and there is a health and beauty centre for men and women with 26 private cabins. Guests can snack poolside at the spa, dine on French cuisine in one of the hotel's two restaurants, one formal and one with a summer terrace, or order room service around the clock. The wood-panelled Bar Marie Antoinette has a large fireplace, and is open all day for light meals and a full range of beverages and cocktails. Afternoon tea is served on weekends and holidays. The Pavillon building features 20 meeting rooms, with audio-visual equipment available on request. The Palace building, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919, is used for receptions and weddings. The hotel's 200 indoor and 50 outdoor parking spaces are complimentary for guests. Next to the hotel is the park of Château de Versailles, with running or walking trails open to the public.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel's pool is scheduled to be closed for renovations beginning February 18, and is expected to reopen on February 26, 2007. These dates are subject to change.

From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport guests can reach this same station by taking RER B to station St-Michel and transferring to RER C. The Trianon Palace is located closest to the station Versailles-Rive Droit, which is reached by SNCF train from Paris station Gare St-Lazare or La Défense. |
