Location. Designed by architect Jan Kleihues, the modern Hotel Concorde Berlin rises high above the vibrant Kurfurstendamm shopping district of Berlin, Germany. The V-shaped hotel is 100 metres from Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and 250 metres from the shores of tree-flanked Lietzensee Lake. Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL) is five kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Original art, clean lines and natural fabrics characterise the design of Hotel Concorde Berlin. Centred around a larger-than-life sculpture, the gallery-style lobby fuses white walls with black leather furniture and crimson carpets.

Tube-shaped lights hang from the high ceiling at brasserie-style Restaurant Le Faubourg, where the emphasis is on French dishes using seasonal produce. In summer, diners spill out onto the pavement terrace. Modern Restaurant Vapiano offers fusion cuisine, while the Lobby Bar has leather armchairs and serves drinks and light meals. Guests can order snacks from 24-hour room service.

From Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL):
Distance to the Hotel Concorde Berlin is five kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the terminal's lower level and cost about 15 EUR. The number 109 airbus runs to Zoologischer Garten station, which is on the U-Bahn (underground system). The X9 is an express airport shuttle, connecting to central Berlin, the main train station, and the Zoologischer Garten U-Bahn station. All buses leave from the upper level. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The centrally located Hotel Concorde Berlin is on Augsburger Strasse, 100 metres from the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG). Travel on buses, trains, ferries and trams, as well as all U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (over- ground) services, is covered by one ticket. Onsite parking is available (surcharge).

Driving directions. From the airport, take the A100 motorway and the exit for Kurfurstendamm.
Head for the city centre and turn into Rankestrasse after about four kilometres.
Turn right into Augsburger Strasse. The hotel is on the left.
