Anguilla Day
on May 30,
Constitution Day
on August 6 and
Separation Day
on December 19.
There's a fun but fairly low-key summer
carnival
, normally during the first week of August, with boat races, live bands, a Miss Anguilla pageant and a calypso show. Boat races are also held over Easter weekend and during the run-up to the carnival - keep an eye out in the newspapers and free tourist magazines for locations and times.
