fiogf49gjkf0d The majority of
Pinamar's restaurants
are around Avenida Bunge and along the seafront. The most popular are large,
tenedor libre
-style parrillas such as
Cardo Azul
, Bunge 991; there's a vegetarian version,
El Vivero
, at Bunge and Libertador. There are a number of good restaurants specializing in freshly caught seafood, such as the bustling
Viejo Lobo
at Avenida del Mar and Bunge. The recently opened
Tulumei
at Bunge 64 is a small, friendly and prettily decorated place with a laid-back atmosphere, good music and imaginative cooking. Also excellent is the bustling
Sociedad Italiana
, Eneas 200, which does a mean spaghetti bolognese for $5. One of Pinamar's most traditional spots is the
teahouse
and restaurant
Tante
, opposite the Playas, on Avenida Bunge. The atmosphere here is a bit stuffy, but the cakes are exceptionally good; elaborate, mostly Germanic, savoury dishes are also served at lunchtime and in the evenings.
Nightlife
is mostly centred around a handful of bars along Avenida Bunge and the seafront. There's a branch of Buenos Aires' trendy
Pizza Banana
, on Avenida del Mar and TobAas; a bright, modern and young place serving fast food as well as beers and with DJs at weekends. Pinamar's biggest nightclub is the
Ku
complex on Quintana and Nuestras Malvinas which houses a number of clubs playing everything from dance to rock and salsa; for $15 you can eat first and then enter any or all of the clubs. Pinamar's popular
casino
is at JA?piter and 1ro de Julio ($5 admission).
