Australian Day Tours (tel 07/3236 4155) have a dozen or so day-tours to the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast theme parks, or Lamington and Mount Tamborine for $50-80; Backtracks (tel 07/5573 5693) go to Lamington and Springbrook national parks from around $50; Coachliner (tel 07/3236 1239) go to Mount Tamborine, Green Mountain or the Sunshine Coast ($45-90); while Far Horizons (tel 07/3284 5475) operate day-trips to Lamington, the Glasshouse Mountains, or hinterland cattle stations from around $60.
