Top Tours (tel 07/4125 3933 or free call 1800 624 677) is a little pricey at $82-119 depending on the itinerary, but gives the best one-day tour, with BBQ lunch, new vehicles and first-rate guides - it also seems to work out of phase with rival tours' schedules, so you don't keep bumping into busloads of other visitors. Alternatively, Fraser Venture Tours (tel 07/4125 4444) scores slightly higher for its overnight trips with accommodation at Eurong ($165). Otherwise try Wilderness Adventure (tel 07/4120 3333, fax 4120 3326), a two-day tour including accommodation at
