), is a relaxed resource space with lots of books and information on Tasmania and notice boards featuring environmental events, rooms to let and items for sale. Organizations such as Bicycle Tasmania (tours of Hobart and Tasmania are free to members) and the Hobart Walking Club (visitors can join their walks free of charge) use this as their base, and the centre operates its own programme of walks and talks throughout the year.
