for $140, or a shorter "round the range" half-day tour for $70. The full-day tour is highly recommended, a 240-kilometre round trip showing you the best of the cape; West Coast Tours also do day-trips to Coral Bay as well as four-day tours to Mount Augustus and the Karijini (Hamersley Range) National Park.

reef-viewing cruises
off Bundegi Beach ($15), and the Exmouth Dive Centre (tel 08/9949 1201) on Payne Street takes care of
dive charters
and equipment rental: day-runs out to the Muiron Islands cost around $120 with gear loan, snorkelling half that price. The Village Dive Shop (tel 08/9949 1101) at the Exmouth Cape Tourist Village offers broadly the same for a few dollars less. Open-water scuba courses cost around $300, and dives to watch the coral spawning are sometimes available. Exmouth Air Charter (tel 08/9949 2492) will take you on
scenic flights
