Shuttle buses
(international $11, domestic $8.80; tel 08/9479 4131) meet arrivals at both airports and take you directly to your accommodation in the city; poorly signposted but directly opposite the Qantas domestic terminal, you can also catch a green Transperth bus #200, #201, #202, #208 and #209 to the city, at least every forty minutes ($2.70). Otherwise, a trip by
taxi
to or from the international airport will take thirty minutes and cost around $20 (call 08/9333 3333 or 9444 4444), or a bit less and a bit quicker from the domestic terminal. An airport shuttle runs to
Fremantle
($15 one-way, $24 for two; tel 08/9383 4115) once an hour. Interstate
trains, buses
and Westrail country buses arrive at the
East Perth Rail and Bus Terminal
, three train stops from the central Transperth suburban train and bus station on Wellington Street.
The main
tourist office
