Northbridge
is the focal point of after-dark action, with plenty of
pubs, bars
and teeming
dance clubs
concealed in improbable buildings. In view of Perth's famed isolation, a night in Northbridge is the hottest spot for thousands of kilometres in any direction but there are also some lively bars in the city and inner suburbs. Many pubs and bars feature
free beer
, happy hours and other value-added incentives to get loaded and let the good times roll. Perth's nightlife centres around alcohol and the city has attempted to curb intoxicated revellers and promote responsible behaviour, to little avail.
