The
airport
(tel 061/365-1941) is 12km south of the centre, and bus #102 runs every hour from there into Brasilia, dropping you at the downtown Rodoviaria.
Lotacao
minibuses run more frequently, or a taxi will cost you between $8 and $10. Inter-city and long-distance buses use the
Rodoferroviaria
, the bus and former train station at the far western end of the Eixo Monumental (tel 061/233-7200). From here, the #131 bus covers the 5km of the Eixo Monumental to the downtown Rodoviaria, passing the famous statue of Juscelino Kubitschek on the way. Once at the downtown Rodoviaria, go up the escalators to the second level for the shopping centres and upper roads, from where you can see most of central Brasilia. Other useful information
