The best place for tourist information is the kiosk at the airport (daily 8am-8pm; tel 061/365-1024), which stocks a range of leaflets, maps and brochures, and also has a surprisingly useful touch-screen computer terminal. There's also a helpful tourist office on the PraA§a dos TrA?s Poderes (Mon 1.30-6pm, Tues-Sun 8am-6pm; tel 061/325-5730). Apart from this, it's either a matter of getting leaflets from the main hotels such as the Nacional or buying a map or booklet (when they have them) from the Pause bookshop, Galeria Hotel Nacional 59, just a few doors from the hotel. The state tourist office, SETUR, on the third floor of the unusual and futuristic Centro de ConvenA§Aµes Dr Ulisses GuimarA?es, Eixo Monumental (tel 061/321-3318, fax 225-5706, www.setur.df.gov.br), may just about be able to help you if you have a special request, but they're short on brochures and more mundane information.
