fiogf49gjkf0d Goiania has quite a lively nightlife, but most of the best
clubs
change names and venues every few months as they go in and out of fashion. Prices tend to be high, with some places charging $10 entrance as well as imposing a minimum spending limit once inside (usually also $10). Praca Tamandare is always a good place to start your evening, with a number of bars and cafes and, later on, nightclubs. The best of these is currently the terminally designer
Draft Casual Bar & Diner,
south down Avenida Republica do Libano on the corner of Rua 22 and Rua 23, Setor Oeste (Tues-Sun). Nearby, on Republica do Libano almost on the Praca Tamandare, the
Big Paint American Bar
(24hr daily) is another more conventional but flashy option. A little further west,
Chocolate Chic,
Av. Portugal 719, is full of the tackiness that passes as style among Goiania's monied youth, but it's still a fun night out. Also fairly reliable are the
Bavaria,
Rua T-51, #1054, Setor Bueno, and
Boate People,
Rua 7, #1000, Setor Oeste. As to straight drinking
bars
, there aren't that many. Very busy is
O Ceara,
on the corner of Rua 2 and Rua 8. Try also
Chopp 10,
Avenida T-1, 2.215, Setor Bueno (daily 4pm until late), or the
Cervejaria Brasil
on Praca Antonio Lisita (closed Sun), which has a good range of bottled beers and cocktails.
