By plane

Travelling to the airport from central Bandar, take any Central Line or Northern Line bus #1 or #2 (every 15min; 6.30am-6pm; B$1) from the bus station below Jalan Cator. For flight information call tel 02/331747.

By boat

Boats to Limbang leave from beside the Customs and Immigration Station at the junction of Jalan Roberts and Jalan McArthur. For Pulau Labuan and Lawas boats you have to go to the Serasa Ferry Terminal at Muara , a small village 25km northeast of Bandar and pass through immigration there. To get to Muara, go to the main bus terminal below Jalan Cator (B$2).

Tickets for Labuan (B$20) and Lawas (B$15) are sold by New Island Shipping, 1st Floor, Giok Tee Building, Jalan McArthur (tel 02/243059), and Halim Tours, Lorong Gerai Timor, off Jalan McArthur (tel 02/226688); tickets for Limbang (B$10) are sold at the open stalls opposite Lorong Gerai Timor, on Jalan McArthur. From Labuan, there are daily connections on to Kota Kinabalu and Menumbok in Sabah, though to ensure you catch one, it's wise to leave Bandar early in the day.

Boats to Bangar in Temburong (B$7) depart from the wharf at Jalan Residency, 2km east of the centre. Tickets are sold beside the jetty. From Bangar, it's possible to travel overland to both Lawas and Limbang in Sarawak .

By bus

Buses to Miri in Sarawak (via Seria and Kuala Belait) leave from the bus station below Jalan Cator .
