Kitchener's
bus station
is on Charles Street, one block west of the main street, King, and the town centre. The
train station
is a ten-minute walk north of downtown, at Victoria and Weber. The
Kitchener-Waterloo Tourism Centre
, downtown opposite the library at 80 Queen St N (Mon-Fri 9am-4.30pm; tel 519/745-3536), has free maps and
accommodation
listings, including several B&Bs (Up to $40/$40-60); during Oktoberfest many families offer similarly priced rooms. There's a clutch of
motels
north of the centre along Kitchener's Victoria Street. Other useful information
