Ontario Northland
trains
from Cochrane and Toronto and all long-distance
buses
terminate at the Intermodal station at 100 Station Rd, to the east of the centre. To get downtown, walk through the shopping mall opposite and take a bus from the front of the mall to the local bus terminal on Oak Street, one block from Main Street and the lakeshore. The town's
tourist office
is on the south side of town, beside Hwy 11 and next door to the Dionne Quints Museum at 1375 Seymour St (daily: mid-June to Aug 8.30am-8.30pm; Sept to mid-June 9am-5pm). North Bay's glut of
accommodation
is concentrated on Lakeshore Drive beside Lake Nipissing. Proficient chain
