- especially little crabs and snails - along Huai He Lu. For better sit-down fare try the hotels, or

cooking at
Hefei Minzu Fandian
on Shuzhou Lu; or A?39 all-you-can-eat lunches at the popular
hotpot restaurant
on Jinzhai Lu; and morning dumplings and evening fish dishes at
Hebin Yuwei Guan
east of
Huaqiao Fandian
on Changjiang Lu. The best
coffee
in Hefei, brewed for A?12 a cup while you wait, is served at the tiny third-floor counter at the
Scitech Plaza,
attached to the
Holiday Inn
on Changjiang Dong Lu. In season you can also buy lychees and peaches from hawkers around town. Other useful information
