fiogf49gjkf0d The
train station
is 1.5km from Jingdezhen's centre, down past the Bank of China on Tongzhan Lu - trolleybuses #1 and #3 head up to central Zhushan Lu from here. The
long-distance bus station
is 3km southwest across the river on Xingfeng Lu, connected to Zhushan Lu by bus #3 and trolley bus #2. Long-distance buses that don't terminate in Jingdezhen might drop passengers off northwest of town at the end of the #4 bus route; take this for five stops down Cidu Dadao, then catch the #1 over the bridge and along Zhushan Lu.
Leaving
, trains head up to Tunxi and Huang Shan in Anhui, and south to the Shanghai-Yunnan line; buses can get you to Tunxi, Yingtan and Nanchang in better time.
Jingdezhen's
accommodation
prospects are sadly dire. Both
Wenyuan Grand Hotel
(tel 0798/8222301; A?75-100), next to the train station on Tongzhan Lu, and
Jingdezhen Fandian
(A?100-150), across from the park on the corner of Zhushan Lu and Lianshi Bei Lu, can furnish you with grotty, though not too expensive, rooms. The one place offering good value is the upmarket
Jingdezhen Binguan
(tel 0798/8225010, fax 8226416; A?300-500), nicely located 1km due north of the centre along Lianshi Bei Lu in
Lianhuata Park
, with a CITS office in the building out front. Eating is limited to a selection of
restaurants
and food stalls along Lianshi Bei Lu offering hotpots and stir fries, and the
Jingdezhen Binguan
's good regional menu.
