Between one and three Hoverspeed SuperSeaCat
ferries
sail daily, all year round, between Newhaven and Dieppe's
gare maritime
, taking little over two hours for the crossing; for information call 08.20.00.35.55. Motorists coming off the boats are directed away from the town, and have to double back west to reach it; foot passengers can either walk the 500m to the tourist office, or take the 15F/a?¬2.29 shuttle buses that connect with each sailing.
Dieppe's
gare SNCF
is another 500m south of the tourist office, on boulevard Clemenceau, and trains are much the quickest way to get to Rouen or Paris. Buses along the coast leave from the
gare routiA?re
alongside.
